The mirror can serve as a metaphor for reflection, hindsight and distance. This show speaks to ways memory and scale can inevitably alter our perceptions of reality.

About the theme: Transformation can occur in the blink of an eye or over a generation. There’s a before and after, and somewhere in the progression of time, alteration. The Transformative can bring discomfort or delight. It can trigger contemplation, discovery, new ways of being and engaging with the world. Not always subject to rationality, the transformative experience can lead to more questions than it answers, give rise to strong feelings and new perspectives, and inspire creativity.

You know the feeling – your hair blowing in the breeze as you sit on your back deck, sipping on a refreshing Frosé or swaying in the cool evening air, caught up in the music and conversations of dear friends. The rustling of the leaves as they tussle and mingle with the passing air. Tip your head back, close your eyes and let the cool, calming tones transport you….”
