Join me for the opening reception of a group show in the award-winning University Unitarian Church Chapel Gallery, designed and built by architect Paul Hayden Kirk in 1959.
About the theme: Transformation can occur in the blink of an eye or over a generation. There’s a before and after, and somewhere in the progression of time, alteration. The Transformative can bring discomfort or delight. It can trigger contemplation, discovery, new ways of being and engaging with the world. Not always subject to rationality, the transformative experience can lead to more questions than it answers, give rise to strong feelings and new perspectives, and inspire creativity.
